Learn Blueprints on Scan
Learn blueprints when scanning objects. Should be compatible with any mods that adds objects and/or recipes.
Type this in the in-game chat:

You can also buy the scanmode update for fresh characters, but S.A.I.L. won’t be happy about your waste of resources.
When you buy them it will show the loot message with 0 units for some reason, that’s normal tho, the addon’s working!
Note that not all vanilla objects have blueprints tied to them, and that it makes it extremely easy to learn blueprints of eg. the lunar base.
This means that if you don’t get a recipe when scanning something you want, then there’s more chances that there’s no recipes for it than the mod being borked.
If you wanna be sure of it, you could, while hovering your mouse above an object and in admin mode (/admin), write
to output any recipes the game has for that object. If it has some but scanning doesn’t make you learn any, try collecting the object with the matter manipulator – if you don’t learn anything, then you already did in the past. If you do however, please tell which item it was!
Appart from the addons thingies, this mod is "vanilla/multiplayer compatible". Once you get the addons (either on local, or on a server with this mod), it should work seamlessly on vanilla servers, as quest scripts are client-side. The infinity express simply won’t sell the addons on vanilla servers, and attempting to spawn them will result in Perfectly Generic Items.

2017-03-20 update:
– Now require you to buy the addon at the Infinity Express. The reason behind this is because the massive quest patch would cause a freeze whenever interacting with a quest, probably because of it referencing non-vanilla species, that might not be installed for everyone, or just because of the size of it. Thanks to Mooncalf99 for reporting the issue!
