This mod is designed to substantially increase the player’s difficulty in progressing to ‘end game.’ It does this by greatly lowering the value of items the player sells, as well as greatly increasing production, research and training times. Also, the trade item category has been eliminated, meaning items like beakthing eggs no longer sell for the same price as you’d buy them from the vendor for.

This mod should force you to place a much greater value on every cat, appreciate everything you build, ponder more while chosing which research item to complete, take notice of every skill point increase and turns hiring new squad members into a huge financial investment.

I would not reccomend this for new players, it’s designed to give more experienced players who can breeze thru the world a new level of difficulty. In my testing, after 30 ingame days, I estimate I’m about 90-95% behind where I would be in a vanilla playthru, and the gulf will continue to grow as training and research becomes more time consuming.

This mod changes the universal multipliers of vanilla items value, training times, research times, production times and some global game settings. It may not be completely compatiable with mods that add new items to the game.
