BACKGROUND:
With the return of Nagash heralding the End Times, the Vampire Coast Pirates band together with their ancient kin, the Vampire Counts. The Pirate King Luthor Harkon and Vlad Von Carstein make an immortal blood pact. Luthor swears loyalty to Vlad, and promises him access to "all the dead the sea can offer", so that he may build an army to finally claim dominion of the Old World and convert the living races into endless hordes of the undead, and an army that just might be strong enough to beat back Nagash. Upon hearing of this "Dark Alliance", King Settra sends reinforcements to the Vampire Counts in a bid to stop Nagash from eventually marching on and burning Khemri to sand.
What this Mod Does:
-This mod allows you to use all Vampire Coast Units and several select Tomb Kings Units with all Vampire Counts armies in the Mortal Empires Campaign and in Custom/Multiplayer battles. (No Lords/Heroes, as those must remain in their respective factions, during Mortal Campaign)
-Is completely compatible with vanilla Vampire Counts unit sizes, as well as my RTG: Apocalypse Mod
-Is completely compatible with Return to Glory: Apocalypse: Legions of Nagash Submod

-All added Vampire Coast and Tomb Kings Units Benefit from Vampire Counts red line stat increases as well as technology buffs.
These are the Tomb Kings units King Settra sent as reinforcements to the Vampires:
Skeleton Horsemen Archers (because Vampires do not have an Archer Cav Unit)
Skeleton Archers (Because they should have been there to begin with)
Skeleton Archers (Regiment of Renown)
Skeleton Archer Chariot (Because Vampire Chariot Units are melee and meant for buffing Undead, not out flanking and cutting other units to ribbons.
Skeleton Chariot (Because they should have been there to begin with)
The Skeleton Archers can be found in the Barrow Building (Rank 2)
The Chariot and horsemen Units can be found in the Binding Circle Building (Rank 2)

The biggest reason I created this mod is because it is canon, based on the End Times story line, that destroyed the Old World, this Dark Alliance did actually happen in the Codex’s and Novel’s written describing the End Times battles.
The secondary reason for making this mod is simple. Vampire Counts needed a HUGE boost to be on par with other armies that were leaps and bounds more versatile. These changes make the Vampire Counts a much more well rounded faction having access to some of the best units in the game both at Range, Close Combat and in the Air, as well as excellent magic users. I think we can all agree "they needed it" as the Vampire Coast update made them almost worthless compared to the Pirates.
Vampire Counts are now fun to play, spreading Vampiric Corruption, having access to great magic users, but now with Artillery and Ranged Units as well as Chariots that make sense for an Undead faction. (Why have Skeleton Warriors, but no Skeleton Archers, Or Skeleton Chariots?…Come on….)
NOTE: This mod can be used completely stand alone (used without any other RTG mods) and you will still have access to the additional Units.
This mod should be compatible with all mods as long as they don’t edit the same tables for the same Units for the same faction and even if they did put this mod above them and this mod will work.
Safe to ADD to a Campaign but not safe to take away after you have saved. You will have to load the save before you saved with this mod installed.
