Reimagined CK3 – More Engaging Personalities and Point Buy Choices
A Reimagined CK3 series that focuses on creating modular addons that improve player agency, the impact of their choices and makes the “world” feel more alive. These mods will initially more often come as singular traits/decisions/events that will then be expanded on.
Shrewd is no longer congenital and reduced cost
Adjusted pricing in relation to prowess (overall reduction in availability)
Made some other minor adjustments of personalities and other traits
Don’t you hate it how it never feels worthwhile taking more advanced educations? even many personalities or fame traits?Why take Berserker when it fits your characters theme when you can buy more stats then it costs just using the Stat Buy function in the Ruler Designer?
The overall goal is to encourage more meaningful choice of personalities and traits as part of the Ruler Designer as Vanilla balancing left it to where you were HIGHLY encouraged to just spam buy stats.
It does so by changing the stat / bonus inclusions / ruler designer cost / point distribution by age and overall balancing. Along with reducing the max stats for a generated character along with their minimums.
Along with adding more hopefully engaging bonuses/negatives as part of them all that encourage more of a “role playing” aspect to things and decision making.
This addon makes SIGNIFICANT changes to the personalities, education, fame, lifestyle and congenital traits found in the vanilla game.
- Educations have been rebalanced to make them more worthwhile for choosing
- Overall a lot more traits include Lifestyle Experience
- Paranoid now increasing Intrigue based on Devotion Level
- Diligent now increasing Stewardship based on Fame Level
- Patient provides Learn Language Scheme Power
- Trusting and Honest increase the Scheme Power for “Befriend”
- Greedy starts with Additional Gold based on their starting title
- Ambitious and Arrogant start with Additional Prestige
- Arrogant has a higher risk of death in combat
- Shrewd is now Congenital
- “Negative” Stress Traits have been limited to 1 to prevent abuse to increase stat buy
- Illnesses will be similarly restricted in the future

I have included more detailed information regarding the changes/balancing in a discussion thread for this addon. This is overall something that I am constantly balancing/changing things on.
There are LOTS of changes plans and feedback in the Discussion will help to affect these changes.
Regarding the screenshots: "Vanilla" with lots of traits etc doesn’t give you much then to spend on stats, while, if I was to have just spammed stat buy and not added the "equivalent" traits I would have a lot more similar stats/ It actually can allow you to have more stats then my modded version due to this.
