Nullmaruzero’s Cheat Mod
I will try to keep the mod updated, but I do not promise anything. Minor updates should not break the mod.
I did not test it with any of the DLCs because I own only the basic game. If the mod becomes popular I may consider buying them and making sure the mod supports them 🙂
My first attempt to create a WORKING "All-in-one" cheat mod for the game. The difference between this mod and majority of other such mods are tailored and reasonable values instead of blind "999s".
The mod aims to be a Cheat Mod, so the gameplay becomes way too easy. It is not a "booster" mod, if that’s what you’re looking for.
On the other hand, you will not craft lifetime supplies with a single click, i tried to make it in a way which would still leave some things to be clicked around every day.
Since it is my first and only mod it might be a little rowdy 🙂
If you don’t like it due to incompatibility with the DLCs, please, refrain from rating until I get the chance to make it DLC-compatibile. Thanks!
→ Helmet & Vest add 10 slots each (EXPERIMENTAL).
→ Items stack now up to 255 (with exclusions due to bugs and the fact that the game treats some actions as items).
→ Enemies now drop 100% ammo.
→ Items do not degrade when used (except for lockpicks and special items).
→ A book is now worth A LOT. But they are somewhat rare in the beginning.
→ Wood is also worth A LOT. Since wood is easy to come by and stackable to 255, I don’t expect people to buy it.
→ Increased Comfort and Defence factors for furniture.
→ Depression from raiding others disabled/lowered.
→ Instant crafting of everything (split of a second to avoid bugs).
→ No collect time for crafted items.
→ Increased item output per crafting for some items (2x or 3x depending on the item).
→ Crafting requires only 1 of a resource.
→ Timeflow halved.
This list is subject to a change. Some things may be removed (if causing problems) as well as new features may join the list.
If something does not work, try these steps:
1. Give the mod highest priority in the mod list so it is the first on the list (if you do not want to, then why do you seek for cheat mods?)
2. Check if it is conflicting with any other mods active (right portion of the screen).
3. Check if the mod is loaded (right portion of the screen).
4. Delete/Disable all other conflicting or unnecessary mods and turn off the game.
5. Browse your subscribed mods list in Steam Workshop and unsubscribe the mods you removed in Step 4. Otherwise they will be downloaded again. Deleting the mods via the game does not unsubscribe them, not for me at least.
6. Launch the game, give an extra check to load status and conflicts and if all is good, start a new game (just to be sure).
— And make sure the game does not crash while configuring mods, otherwise the changes will not be saved! For this reason avoid subscribing/unsubscribing mods via Steam Overlay while in the game.
This should help with any mod conflicts, feel free to copy/paste this instruction under your other favorite mods in Steam Workshop 🙂
