Civilization: Battania

Ability: Poem of Dunthanach Districts can only be built in Forest and Jungle and grant standard adjacent bonuses from them. Your units ignore the movement cost from terrains. When a city is built adjacent to a lake, it receives a free monument and grant points for Great Prophet (changed Great Writers Points after granting a Great Prophet). Monument +1 great work slot of all types. You will start the game by a lake as much as possible

Unique Unit: Battanian Hero

Battania’s unique classical era Ranged units. The noble soldier. When obtaining a Swordsman, there is a 30% chance of becoming a Battanian Hero Have a powerful Melee combat strength, gaining stealth and +5 combat strength in the Forest and Jungle.

Unique Unit: Battanian Fian Champion

Battania’s unique medieval era Ranged units. The noble soldier. Upgraded from Battanian Hero. When obtaining a Man-at-Arms, there is a 20% chance of becoming a Battanian Fian Champion. Longer Attack Range. Have a powerful Melee combat strength, gaining stealth and +5 combat strength in the Forest and Jungle. Enemies adjacent to target will also bear a lower non-lethal damage.

Unique District: Woodland Shrine

Battanian unique district which replaces Holy Site with lower cost. Your city border grows by two tile each time a Great Person is expended in this city. Units on land produced in this city grant the ability to spread your religion to nearby cities when killing a major civilization’s unit.

Leader: Caladog

Ability: Shepherd of Misty Woods Grant +50% production bonus for settler. After unlocking ‘Iron working’, you can recruit noble soldiers or collect taxes from non-capital cities through projects, but this will significantly reduce city loyalty in the short term. Once your city is out of control, it will be automatically destroyed, and generate a Barbarian Settler in place
