This Mod brings some slightly challenging and more lifelike feel to the in-game weather systems. This will bring extremely hot summers (topping 100). This gives fatigue affects if temperatures aren’t managed correctly.

Winter will also drop well into sub-zero temperatures, meaning you’ll need to deal with the environment like never before!

As always, our mods will make things slightly more challenging. We’re extremely careful to always keep things balanced and in tune with the base game though.

Some players have reported a higher-than-normal level of rain using this Mod. If you experience this, we suggested dropping the servers rain level to “Dry” to help compensate.

WARNING: We have NOT tested values at the extreme ends of the available scales. If you insist on changing the settings to options this extreme, we are unable to advise on the effects this may have on your world and characters!

Complete File Renaming Overhaul!
We Noticed some files in our own Modlists we’re conflicting. As part of some large re-writes going on at the moment, we’ve rolled out a new naming convention across all our mods. This should eliminate some edge case errors and pave the way for the new content.

This Mod will bring:
– Warmer Summers
– Colder Winters
– More variation in Season temperature
– More variation in Daylight hours (longer summer days, longer winter nights)

Latitude Variation – This will control the position in latitude of your Game World on the Real World. We have set this slightly higher than the default to give a more accurate reading for KY and hence more accurate weather. Adjust this as you wish, further North (higher value) will result in Milder Summers, Colder Winters, shorter summer nights etc.

Max Temp – This will control the Maximum Temperature you’re Game World can reach.

Min Temp – This will control the Minimum Temperature you’re Game World can reach.

Season Variation – This will control the variation in Seasons between years. So think along the lines of 1993 mild summer, wet winter etc., higher value means more variation. We recommend 9 here to accurately reflect some of the insane Weather changes witnessed at speed in KY. Increase further at your own risk.

A. Yes, the Mod is self-contained and so perfectly safe to do so!

Q. Is this Compatible with other mods?
A. Yes, this mod doesn’t touch or adjust any base game functions, however, the dynamic loot system works by identifying special Z’s. If you use any mods that overhaul Z outfits and their names, you may not receive the medical drops!
