Description:

Civilization:Ascension-Network
Ability:

Gain vision of Corrupted ( Barbarians) and can designate attack targets for Corrupted Gatherings (Barbarian Outposts).
Unable to gain military units, can only filter Ascendants(+3 Strength,+1 Movement,comes with 4 buffs) from Corrupted (1.5% chance), who can consume 30 Punishing to create Corrupted Gatherings.
And can control the Punishing Virus Concentration of Corrupted.For every 5% Punishing Virus Concentration, gain a random buff, with each buff up to level 3, and a maximum of 14 buffs per unit.
Upon death, Corrupted release a large amount of Punishing, causing damage to nearby units/cities equal to (the amount of the Corrupted’s Punishing Virus Concentration * 2), with cities only taking 25% of this damage.
The concentration of Punishing Virus increases by 1% after killing a unit.Corrupted die when their Punishing Virus Concentration falls below 0.

Ability:

For every Ascendant (non-civilian unit) owned, all cities gain +2 Faith, and 30% of the city’s Faith output is converted into Production.

Unique Unit

Unlocked by Machinery.Starts with low initial stats but can undergo Body Redesigned to increase combat strength, with a chance of failure. If a Barbarian Outpost is cleared by owner, Gabriel will betray. Upon defeat, Gabriel drops GreatWorks “Beyond Good and Evil” and "Gabriel’s Brain".
After promotion, Gabriel can switch forms.

Unique Unit: Alpha,Roland,Lamia

Buffs
Attack Boost

Gain additional Strength at 10/15/20%.

Barrier

Permanently gain a shield with 30/50/70 % of max health.

Berserk

Attacks have a 30/50/70 % chance to deal 33% extra damage.

Black Hole

Attacks have a 20/25/35% chance to immobilize the target for 2/2/3 turns.

Closed Loop

+3/5/7 Ranged Defense.

Flash

Every turn, 25% chance to teleport to an enemy unit within 4/5/7 range with less than 30% health, return after 1 turn.

Healing Prohibition

Attacks have a 30% chance to prevent target from healing for 2/3/4 turns

Lightning Mine

After attacking, 50% chance to leave a mine on target that deals damage equal to 30/40/50%
of the attacker’s Strength, explodes after 3 turns (stackable).

Lightning Shield

When defend, 30/35/40% chance to deal damage equal to 30/40/50% of the received damage to
attacker.

Lone Wolf

+3/5/7 Strength, -1 for each nearby unit.

Penetration

Reduce target’s defense by -3/-4/-5 for 2/2/3 turns.

Shield

Every 6 turns, gain a shield equal to 15/25/35% max health for 2 turns.

Steel

Non-lethal damage taken is reduced to 1, cooldown: 6/5/4 turns.

Thunderclap

Attacks have a 10/15/20% chance to instantly kill the target (against cities 5/7/10%).

2024.3.31: Fixed the issue where unique unit skills couldn’t deal damage. Added a new project: Consumes 40 Punishing, Science +5%.

2024.4.2: Fixed crash issues,the conversion rate of faith to production has been reduced to 30%,Punishing resources have been adjusted from +2 to +5 per turn, with military units +4 Strength, Punishing obtained from the special unit’s "Reading" skill has been changed from +2 to +5 .And simplified the promotion tree. Fixed text errors and some issues with buffs.

I intended to release this on February 1st, but due to various reasons, it’s only completed now. The leaders only have their first meet and idle animations because creating them exhaustively was too demanding. Originally, I also planned to make Roland and Lamia into unique units, but the workload was too immense . Since new relics have been added, subscribing to Repair Custom GreatWorks is necessary. Additionally, the mod’s music player was developed by myself, not using the official method. Any issues or suggestions can be left as comments.
