The aim here is to make The great wall rather a shield than a modifier. Which exactly is what it works in history.
Ten Pass & Garrison along with the north frontier:
– Shanhai Pass in Yongning
– Huangya Pass in Beijing
– Juyong Pass in Xuanhua
– Yanmen Pass in Datong
– Ningwu Pass in Ningwu
– Zhengbei Tai in Yan’an
– Ningxia Garrison in Ningxia
– Shaanxi Garrison in Lanzhou
– Gansu Garrison in Liangzhou
– Jiayu Pass in Zhangye
A Single monument gives a local modifier. Be useful when you already built a fort on its province.
There is a decision to help you build the forts when you own all those ten provinces and have a good ruler(not Zhu Qizhen or his brother). Effected this decision will give those provinces a further trigger modifier. And three trigger modifiers for empire in 3 different levels.
For compatibility reason, I didn’t remove the original "Great Wall" monument. You could use this mod with any other Monument Expansion together as you want.
28/04/23 updated:
No longer require the fort building. Now the monument will increase the fort_level to the province. As a consequence, the defensiveness bonus is reduced.
in tier 3:
+2 fort level
0.15 garrison growth
0.3 local defensiveness (0.2 for province + 0.1 for area)
-75% local fort maintenance
1 decision for help you build it
1 further province trigger modifier: 50% movement speed for the owner and -30% for the enemy.
3 triggered modifiers once you have them all above the certain tier:
-Tier 1: +1 own tolerance
-Tier 2: -10% received morale damage
-Tier 3: +0.05 monthly mandate growth and +0.5 yearly harmony
1 triggered modifier once you lose the control of them, or forgot them in the corner: +10% received morale damage and -0.05 monthly mandate growth.
