Lost Coast
If you die, the AI disables itself and you’ll have to input "ai_setenabled 1" into the console to fix it. As far as I know, this is an engine bug that is outside of my control.

Originally planned as a section of the Highway 17 chapter in Half-Life 2, Lost Coast was a playable technology showcase that introduced High Dynamic Range lighting to the Source engine in 2005.
I’ve ported the original map and assets to Half-Life: Alyx. I’ve made some of my own additions and changes, so this map does play substantially different than the original. There are a few hidden Easter eggs as well, let me know if you find them!
To set expectations, there are many things missing from the original, such as the fisherman npc and the final helicopter fight. The map is in an unfinished state. Many things are missing, unpolished, or broken. I decided to release this as-is because I know I’ll never get around to finishing it, and I might as well let people check it out. Please don’t have high expectations. I spent way too many hours on this and the last thing I want is to let everyone down.
