Description:

I wanted to create a map that is comprised of every nation on earth, then giving independence to cities, states, territories, coups, etc. based on community requests.

I also added the map land area of the North and South Poles, but (at start of game) they are unclaimed. If you want me to establish modern polar claims – LET ME KNOW IN COMMENTS 🙂

So – among other platforms, I will be taking freedom requests from the Steam Workshop comments. I started by freeing Somaliland and Western Sahara (independent nations whose nation status is not recognized internationally but is shown by their political power in the region). If you want another similar nation (Transnistria, South Ossetia, Puntland, etc.), just let me know in the comments.
I also freed Puerto Rico (at the request of a friend).

In this, I will accept requests for freeing cities, states (similar to US states, Canadian territories, Chinese provinces, etc.), unrecognized nations, territories, islands, native states/tribes/etc., autonomous regions, and more. Just request it.

If I have the available map space, I will also create fictional places that exist on the map. Request anything!

Anyways, enjoy!

List of independent nations (outside of the existing 197):
[THE LIST GOT TOO LONG FOR THE WORKSHOP ITEM DESCRIPTION, SO HERE IS A LINK TO THE LIST:

Current Nation Count: 531

(By the way – Yes, I am Balkanizing the Balkans at the request of @Ran. Yes it is difficult. No you cannot see anything in the Balkans due to all the names. Yes it is chaos. Yes it is fun.)

At the requests of different folks, Sri Lanka is slightly larger, and Tasmania is now a "Saint-Martin" island – Half controlled by Madagascar and half controlled by Rhode Island.

At the request of friends, Texas expanded down the coast and to the south of Baja California. Texas also controls a single Louisiana island as well as the Mexican city of Monterrey. Texas territory (outside of mainland Texas) can be disputed. Just comment.

**Isolated [(Isolated)[ means that a nation cannot expand/conquer or be conquered. The only two are the Monastic Order of Mount Athos and North Sentinel Island. They are true neutral. If you can make the case for other true neutral nations or groups, lmk
