Description:

Provenance is a quaint coastal town, and a great foothold to establish in the region. The open fields, landmark ruins and tightly knit streets of the town offer a range of combat situations and opportunities.

Map Design

The map is split into two distinct halves:

  • The coast – Featuring more fields and landmarks, the coast offers the quickest route to the enemy base, but the least resources. Hosting the single, central capture point in a wider open ruins, this would likely see the largest of the warfare as the teams play a tug of war in this open area.
  • The town – Filled with narrow streets, a wide variety of buildings and a large amount of resources, the Town will be a great source of income, but in a difficult to navigate setting. The streets offer more flanking opportunities, and although vehicles may find it tough to get around, if done right, you could manage to sneak around some larger tanks through the streets. With two Capture points, each favouring one team, it will be a hectic effort to capture both!

Issues and Feedback

I am very new to mapping on Company of Heroes, and my gameplay knowledge is a bit barren! If you find any issues or have any feedback on gameplay, please do let me know! I have a lot to learn, and where possible I want to use what I do to improve the map!
