Nomenclatura MPE&MB+

This mod is add-on for MPE-MB+ and works with cultures from Cultures Expanded and RICE

This mod dynamically alters the names of most empires, kingdoms, duchies, counties and baronies on the map based on the culture of their holder. It also dynamically changes the title names based on the culture you are playing with and adds colors and borders to differentiate them more easily

This mod started as an an updated version of Project Choronymy MPE MB+ , originally an extension of the Project Choronymy mod. But since then I expanded on it more and included Community Title Project and expanded it also. I added alot of the original title names from CTP and modified some and added many new ones so now every culture should have title names from their culture and history. To make them noticeable I tiered them and added color to these titles so they are easier to identify. I also added new custom portrait borders so everything can be easier to recognize.

It will only function properly when used in combination with More Bookmarks+ & MPE-MBPlus and also with cultures from Culture Expanded and RICE mods. Also you will need now More Traditions v2 mod so new traditions and arts can work.

This mod consolidates all the various choronyms from: Rosetta CK3 , Immersive Toponyms , More Cultural Holding Names and various iterations of More Cultural Names into one big package. You dont need to use these mods along with this one and if you do always place this mod last.

In total there are over 750 000 different cultural names included in this mod. I fixed some non-existent cultures from original files and added some new ones, mostly from Asian regions since that region misses the most.

This mod now also adds Community Title Project and expands on it so every culture now should have proper title name and also proper color for tier of the rank it belongs to. I also added portrait borders. If you don’t like the border for portraits you can disable it by deleting the portraits folder in mod/gfx folder. Any feedback on portrait is appreciated.

This mod now includes Coat of Arms from the Patrum Scuta mod and Patrum Scuta Expanded mod. I included this mod because it fits the theme and needed a compatibility patch to work better with MPE-MB+.

New additions also include custom artwork for traditions in both the base game and various other tradition mods. The Chat GPT Flavor Pack traditions and their associated arts are now part of this mod. There is a custom rule to turn off these traditions since the original mod adds innovations and assigns random traditions to each culture, which I did not prefer. Only the traditions from the Chat GPT mod are included.

You now need to use the More Traditions v2 mod with this mod, as I have not fully integrated it and only included the artwork for those traditions. Many of these artworks are thanks to I Am Full Truie and his submods for various mods. With some research and AI assistance, I created tradition arts for the Chat GPT pack and various other missing tradition arts, including some missing arts for Men-at-Arms .

These new artworks may not be to everyones liking and may need some tweaks so let me know in the comments if you find any issues with them.

If you see any vanilla named ranks for kings etc please report me the culture thats affected

If you do find any bugs please leave a comment so I can try to fix it.

This mod should always be at the end of your load order.

This mod should be compatible with any mods you add that and they work with MPE-MB+ and don’t mess with 00_landed_titles.txt file.
Mod is only going to work when used with More Bookmarks+ , MPE-MBPlus and Culture Expanded mods.

This mod is save game compatible .

If this mod fails and you are using it with only MPE-MB+ then it means they updated their mod.

This mod can work well with amazing Gambo’s Most Excellent Super Compatch . Thanks to his amazing work you can use a LOT of amazing mods together, check his work out!
Place my mod after his compatches and on bottom of the list to make it work.

No major plans for this mod, aside from potentially adding a few missing cultural names to certain areas and maybe adding some new title names.
The mod already includes a vast array of names, covering most of the main locations. However, regions like East Asia and SEA have relatively fewer variations in names. If these areas are eventually filled out, this mod could potentially feature up to 1 million cultural names, or at least over 900k 🙂
