BETA v.02

This is a psionic variant of the Sentinel class with a much stronger core ability to make using overwatch worthwhile.

BASE ABILITIES
Primary Weapons: Rifles, shotguns, and bullpups.
Secondary Weapon: Psi-Amp
Mindwall: Entering Overwatch grants 1 shield, and increases mobility on your next turn

BARBICAN
Maim: Standard shot that also immobilizes the target.
Avenger: Take a reaction shot against enemies that attack nearby allies.
Ever Vigilant: Go into overwatch if you end turn with a movement.
Call For Fire: Enter overwatch, and all allied units within 4 tiles also enter overwatch.
Armor Shift: Steal up to 4 points of armor from a target. Usable once per mission.
Ready For Anything: Go into overwatch if you end your turn with a primary weapon shot.

ESPER
Pillar: Make high cover (same as Templar ability but doesn’t cost Focus and 2 turn cooldown).
Bandolier + Whistler: Misses refund ammo, might disorient target.
Vindicator: Automatically holotarget enemies that attack you and gain a special psi attack you can use against them.
Adrenaline: Gain 1 shield when you kill an enemy (not Lost though).
Psychic Lens: Gain bonus aim and damage when you have any shields. Bonuses increase for overwatch shots if you have at least 3 shields.
Conversion: Convert all shields into a targeted explosion. Radius increases based on how many shields you have.

GTS
Third Eye: Gain 1 additional overwatch shot per turn.

TRAINING CENTER
One or two random Psi-Operative abilities should show up alongside the usual cross-class perks.

UNLOCK?
This class is currently available from the start. I wanted to have it unlock with psionics, but I’m a bit stumped on how to do it. I’ll implement it if I figure it out, but I’ll make it a config option so it doesn’t mess with anyone already subscribed.

COMPATIBILITY
As far as I’m aware there should be no compatibility problems from this mod.* However, coming into the scene at this late date, there’s a lot out there I might have missed, so please let me know if you run into any problems.

*Obviously incompatible with vanilla, but I have no plans to make a version for that.

THREE TREE VARIANT
Optionally, you can enable a version of this class that uses three upgrade paths instead of two. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Open XComClassData.ini in the mod’s Config folder.
2. Add a ; before "+SoldierClasses=PsiSentinelClass"
3. Remove the ; before "+SoldierClasses=PsiSentinelClass3T"
If you choose to play with this, be sure you’re using the Community Promotion Screen (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2550561145) or another mod that enables AWC style promotions by default.
