DB BR 462 "Desiro HC"
Siemens Desiro HC (High Capacity) EMU. Designated as Class 462, 1462 and 2462 in Germany and Class 40/60 in Israel, the units are a modernised variant of the Desiro ML with bi-level coaches in-between the power cars. With 3290 kW per unit, the type is certified for up to 190 kph, although the 160 kph variant is more common.

Power Cars: 175 PAX (including 95 standing)
Bi-level Trailers: 260 PAX (including 130 standing)
A train unit is made up of two power cars and up to 4 trailers, three units can be coupled.
