1st Altian Infantry Brigade Uniforms – World War Two
This mod adds re-textured uniforms and Eden editor units for Faces of War of the fictional 1st Altian Infantry Brigade. In the fictional lore of Bohemia Interactive’s Republic of Altis and Stratis the history of Altian forces was mentioned during Operation Torch. Altis was noted as being a former British Colony and like most British Colonies, local forces were raised in a time of great crisis such as the Second World War. This is why LDE is proud to present the 1st Altian Infantry Brigade as to contribute to the excellent map by Bohemia. All three infantry regiments are fictional and we have created their own history and purpose to make it more fun for everyone.
Units Included
Royal Altis Regiment
The premier infantry regiment from the Altis Colonial Forces, raised for service in the First World War as the Altis Regiment. The Regiment earned their Royal prefix in 1937. The Royal Altis Regiment recruits primarly from the Eastern part of the country with much of its recruits coming from the port city of Pyrgos.
Kavala Horse
The Kavala Horse was raised in 1917 to provide a cavalry force for rapid reaction in the event of an invasion. They recruit primarily from the capital Kavala and when the Second World War broke out they were raised once again but were swtiched to Infantry.
Altis Fusiliers
The newest of the three regiments, the Altis Fusiliers were raised at the outbreak of the Second World War to handle the large influx of recruits coming from Altis and Stratis. They are made up mostly of rural Altians and citizens from Stratis.
