Hotfix update thanks to Maxis in the comments, mod now supplied with world.png file that should fix issue with images not showing or being jumbled together. Let me know if any other issues arise.
please note since this is in early developement some things might not work as intended, if something breaks just verify integrity or restore with your backup.Any bug reports are welcome! 🙂
Experience a new overworld map with a selection of completely new handdrawn textures and base game edited art. Made to feel fun, vibrant and most importantly immersive.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The mod requires a manual install after subscription, hopefully devs can patch this out later. 🙂

1. First locate your Wildermyth install location and backup your Wildermyth/asset/world folder.
On PC
Go to your library in steam. Right click on Wildermyth > Select Manage > Select ‘Browse Local Files’
On mac
Go to your library in steam. Right click on Wildermyth > Select Manage > Select ‘Browse Local Files’>Right click Wildermyth>Choose ‘Show Package Contents’>Open resources>Open Assets>Open World

2. Then subscribe to the mod and locate the mod folder in this location on you pc or mac(steam/steamapps/workshop/763890/3140041525)
On Windows
In the folder ‘3140041525’ simply copy the asset folder directly into your Wildermyth folder selecting yes to merge when prompted. Open your game and play!
on Mac
In the folder ‘3140041525’, copy and paste the modfiles in the asset/world folder to the world folder in your Wildermyth install location. (Wildermyth/resources/assets/world). Say yes to overwrite when prompted.
Done!
Simply start up the game and it should work fine. 🙂

Alpha version features and limitations.
Completely new art for generated Trees and Floor maps.
Currently editing base game art to fit the new vibrant style and to make landmarks more visible than base game.
A number of art assets are still not fixed to match the new style but it does not look out of place, just very blurry like base game.
BUG reporting and SUGGESTIONS
Just let me know if anything is amiss, and I will take a look. Let me know if you have any suggestions for what can be improved or if you have an idea for another map mod.
