The Tempest-Class Carrier is one of the biggest CVs to be ever built by FELDWEGproductions.
It is built to serve as supporter of a fleet, as a mobile command center or to just park a lot of SV’s in it. She can stay alone for a long period of time due to her large fuel capacity and more than enough survival equipment.
What’s the difference from the Mk II?
The Tempest Mk III features a completly reworked logic system and has more detail on the exterior than her older predecessor.
Now, all interior lights are controlled by Motion Sensors. That way you can save power and only have them on where you need them. To make things even more easier the levers on the bridge are reduced to only 3, the Bridge window now has a small HUD displaying some informations (for example if the ECO-Mode is active) and unnecessary logic signals have been removed. Additionally, one of the farm plots has been repurposed as a large and more central medbay.
To be honest, who needs that many farm plots on a CV anyways?
Because of that, the old medbays on the sides of the main hangar were removed.
Now there’s a small lounge and quarters for guests instead.
