ET Map Mod: Less Straight Borders for Extended Timeline
Changes the province map of the Extended Timeline mod to remove modern-day, straight borders in West Africa, East Africa, North Africa, Arabia and the Middle East. This is mainly meant to be used for ancient and medieval start dates.
Borders have been changed to adhere along rivers, but only when practical. For example, if changing a specific border to follow rivers would have affect gameplay by changing which provinces border which, I did not make the change.
So, adjacencies between specific provinces are all kept the same, and thus gameplay is not changed at all – this is purely a graphical change.
The map is still a work-in-progress, as I tweak and refine some borders based on geography.
I just wanted to release this for some people who are interested in having fewer straight borders. The next part of the world I wish to touch up on is South Africa.
