HEROES OF LEGEND – ASTARTES Edition (New Heroes)

This mod adds new heroic units for the Space Marines.

Regardless of the player color used, heroes will keep their own colors. They are like mercenary only available to the Space Marines in the Heroes building like vanilla heroes and regular buildings for units. The Space Marines comes to Gladius Prime with their own color scheme, barks, heraldic and assets to purge this world from the enemy of Mankind !

Role : Support (Versatile)

Research needed : Librarian (Tier 3)

Skills :

• 1st Flaming Blast : Deal incendiary damage with a blast effect, immolate the target.
• 2nd Drakeskin : Grants additional armor for an allied unit.
• 3rd Burning Hands : Hazon Dak’ir gains a new melee attack infused with Warp energy.
• Elite Draconic Aspect : Reduces the morale of enemy units as well as their resistance to morale loss.

Traits :

• Fire Shield : When activated Hazon Dak’ir reduces incendiary or melta damage suffered by nearby allied units.
• Member of the Salamanders : Salamanders take less damage, have more accuracy and generate a low loyalty rate.

Role : Offensive Support/Melee DPS

Research needed : Imperial Fists reinforcement (Tier 4)

Skills :

• 1st Close-Range Bolter Fire : Temporarily increases the armor penetration of nearby allies’ bolt weapons but reduce the range.
• 2nd Pain is a Lesson : Passively grants nearby allied infantry damage resistance and morale loss resistance based on missing health.
• 3rd Champion of Blades : Sigismund takes less melee damage and returns some of the damage taken. He also regenerates his health by attacking in melee.
• Elite Praetorian’s Wrath : Sigismund increases the damage of the target unit’s grenades or heavy weapons.

Traits :

• Bolster Defences : Imperial Fists grants armor and passive healing to fortification.
• Dorn’s Legacy : Sigismund can grant an additional action to a member of the Imperial Fists or the Black Templars.
• Deployment of Breacher Siege Marines of the Imperial Fist : Breacher Siege Marines that can strengthen fortifications.
• Gifts of the Phalanx : Sigismund can equip more items or artefacts.
• Member of the Imperial Fists : Imperial Fists ignore 50% of the ranged resistance, are more resistant in an outpost or city and increase the resistance of nearby fortifications.

Role : Support/Melee DPS

Research needed : Iron Hands reinforcement (Tier 4)

Skills :

• 1st Kryptos Device : Sabik can reveal an area of ​​the map.
• 2nd Reject the flesh, embrace the machine : Sabik heals an infantry target and temporarily grants them more armor.
• 3rd No Clemency : Sabik marks a target who will take more damage.
• Elite The Iron Heart : Sabik grants health regeneration and armor to an allied Astartes infantry who will perish in around ten turns.

Traits :

• Deployment of the Medusan Immortals : Strong and resilient unit that can pierce the most hardened armor.
• Deployment of the Storm Eagle Nighthawk : Sabik deploys a Storm Eagle Nighthawk to infiltrate the enemy line. The Storm Eagle research from the add-on is needed.
• Iron Father : Sabik restores infantry morale and increases the accuracy of nearby vehicles.
• Parangon of Iron : Iron Hands passively generates research. Heroes generates more and loyalty too.
• The Gorgon’s Rage : Iron Hands units temporarily deals more damage but loses the effects of Paragon of Iron.
• Members of the Iron Hands : Iron Hands take less damage, have additional melee armor penetration, and better ranged accuracy. They generates research as long as they’re focus.
