Jacobeast’s Elite Western Legionaries
They’re finally here, at Ragnar’s request: the Elite Western Legionaries.
The elite western legionaries are a tier 3 very heavy melee unit that is immune to snow attrition and is recruitable from tier 3 and tier 4 military infantry barracks by the western and eastern roman empire (as of course the region around the danube needs proper protection as well).
They say that it is a sweet and seemly thing to die for one’s country, but these men wouldn’t know, dying is’nt meant for the strong. Born and raised on the northern and western frontiers of the roman empire, these legionaries have known the cold and the way of the sword since they took their very first breath. Drawn from the very best local warriors and Roman settlers, their swordsmanship is unequalled, they’re loyalty unquestionable, and their vigour unrivaled. Whether the frontiers need protecting from murderous Gepids, barbarous Goths, invading Vandals, vicious Iazyges or bloodthirsty Quadians and Alamanni, these legionaries get the job done. No task is too much of a burden when it comes to fighting for the glory of the eternal city. So defend your frontiers, take back what is rightfully Roman, and expand into the unknown reaches of the world with these men. The new orbis pictus will be painted with the blood of Roman foes.

PS The unit is named "wip-30′ in your mod manager (meaning work in progress, it’s just something I use to keep track of my mod progress), because the mod kept breaking when I tried to change the name (probably due to an earlier version I uploaded and then had to remove).
