Battleground Commanders
Armies will display their commanders, making them more involved visually during wars. With this mod, you would know immediately if a scary viking such as Ivar (or any of his brothers) is approaching your army. Runs great with AGOT mod too.
Put anywhere in your playset. As of update 1.2.1 for Battleground Commanders, compatibility has been improved which means it now works with mods like Raised Army CoA without needing a compatch. The compatch I recently released specific for AGOT is no longer required as well.
I highly recommend any "Zooming" mod to be used together with Battleground Commanders as it gives you more space to move around (when zoomed in). Holy wars are chaotic with all the swarming and with the commander portraits mixed in, it will be harder for you to navigate your armies. Zooming mods will definitely help you with this issue. I personally use Increased Zoom by PiGu.
