Description:

This mod adds a new mechlink harvestable from fully grown anima trees.

This is NOT a retexture.

The anima mechlink is way weaker compared to the vanilla mechlink:

  • reduced bandwidth
  • reduced control groups
  • reduced mech repair speed
  • severely reduced mech gestation speed
  • reduced command range (when activated in the framework settings)
  • can be self-installed like a normal mechlink
  • can not be reclaimed from dead pawns
  • can be removed (and also destroyed) with an operation using 2 glitterworld medicine
  • additional mechlink implants can’t be installed by a mechanitor with an anima mechlink
  • apparel adding mechanitor stat (bandwidth, control groups etc.) will work

A tribal mechlink is useless without a way to get mechs as a tribal!

I’ve made a whole mod about acquiring mechs called [AV]Mechanoid orbital traders. Don’t get confused by the name, it evolved into acquiring mechs in general.
