Tired of that cube making your Pawns sculpt filthy cubes
on the ground and giving them obsessions over a mere shape?
Or thought it was kind of anticlimactic and boring
when you deactivated it and then got frustrated
when it came back into your region just to learn you will need
to restudy that anomaly all over again just to deactivate it again
by consuming yet another shard? What an annoyance!

Or maybe you feel like the golden cube could be… Something more?
Mayhaps it isn’t good enough… Perhaps it could be… Altered…
Contorted… Mangled into an aggregation of twisted shapes
of more potential uses… Something better… Improved…

Is it antipathy towards it? Or perchance aversion and hatred?
Do you deprecate its facade of purity and its perpetual nuissance?
Perhaps you are a misocubist? An iconoclast!
A fanatic of blasphemy and madness!

The golden cube now drops fragments instead of regular gold!
Use them to build and display a shattered cube sculpture
which inflicts great terror upon any living pawns.
Make sure you have researched the cube’s "pleasure pulse"!
Use those fragments to craft an altered version of it
which automatically prevents and cleanses cube obsessions.
New customizable visual effects for the altered cube,
new ways to get rid of future golden cubes and more mysteries!
