Description:

Korra joins YOMI Hustle as mid to close range fighter using her mastery of the four elements.
This mod is still in its very early stages and serves mostly as a proof of concept.
I decided to upload it as it currently is so that I can collect feedback I can use going forward.
The next update will probably be the inclusion of more basic animations, I may have got too focused on attacks first.
Animations and effects may not be final, I’ll likely go back to touch up things here and there.
I hope you’re excited to try Korra out! Let me know what you think, it keeps me motivated!

Her are some of the plans going forward.

MOVESET
Korra is an aggressive fighter who’s all about putting pressure on the enemy. She uses her versatile moveset to keep them at bay until she creates an opening to move in. So far, I’ve been thinking about her future moveset like this:
Characters generally have, or have space for, 18 standard moves: 9 normals and 9 specials. For her grounded moveset, I plan for Korra’s moveset to be divided as such: 4 standard melee moves, 4 fire moves, 4 earth moves, 3 water moves, and 2 air moves, and grab. Air takes a backseat during grounded combat because Korra will be unable to use earth in her aerial moveset, which I plan to be: 4 air moves, 3 fire moves, 2 melee moves, 2 water moves, and grab.
Even when she’s down, she’s not out. When Korra gets knocked down, I plan to include two moves that’ll be able to throw opponents off balance.

SPECIAL MECHANICS
Korra is going to have two signature moves
-A combo move that you acquire from landing four different elemental attacks in a row
-The avatar state
I don’t have much planned in detail for the avatar state, just concepts. She will get new moves that do high damage, but have low hit stun. This is because in the avatar state, I want it to feel more like you’re trading blows with a powerful opponent rather than just getting comboed again. She will have access to flight movement.

Unfortunately, WaterJets is benched for the time being until I can figure out why it makes the game crash.
