Canals Add Company Capacity
This mod was made to change canals so they added max company capacity to offset the company slot being used for the canal company. This mod has gone through a number of iterations as the game has been updated and this current version is probably the most flexible.
This mod adds two game rules that change the modifiers on canal companies and buildings. The "Canal Companies increase" rule chooses what additional benefit canal companies give as a prosperity bonus and the "Canal Buildings increase" rule chooses the additional benefits for the canal buildings.
Both rules have 4 options: add a company slot, add a free company charter slot, add both a company slot and a free company charter slot or add nothing. The page for this mod has images showing each rule and how it affects canal companies / buildings.
