Description:
RUN-DOWN AMERICAN TRAMP STEAMER "PIERRE" 1905

(Fictional)
This clunky old rusty bucket of bolts sure has seen better days. SS Pierre was a tramp steamer plodding around the U.S. carrying cargo and whatever passengers that were willing to board such a frail vessel. Its interiors were well kept up though, so that makes it a bit nicer. Its design was rather odd, with the engine room crammed in the stern instead of under the main deck house, but it allowed for it to carry a relatively large amount of cargo for its size, which is why it was in service for so long. At one point while sitting at dock it sprang so many leaks that it just… sank. It was re-floated, repaired and put back into service with some new motorized lifeboats, but not long after in World War 2, it was torpedoed and sunk.

HOW TO START

1: Turn the dampers on the boiler all the way up
2: Light boilers
3: Once steam pressure is up, you should be good to go
-Make sure the boilers have plenty of coal in them

SINK SWITCHES

The Switch is located in the captain’s cabin in the middle of the ship, as a keypad on the table.
1: The starboard boiler explodes, sinking the ship quickly
2: A "torpedo" explodes on the starboard side of the ship between cargo hold 1 and 2
3: The ship develops so many leaks that it eventually just sinks
4: Same as 3, but controlled by rolling waves. If the waves are too large, the cargo hatches will implode and the ship will quickly sink
The power will go out when flooding in the engine room reaches a certain point, as will the boilers explode as long as they are still hot and with pressure.
They do use parts from the weapons DLC, and is required for them to work on sinks 1 and 2.
Once water starts pressing down on the cargo hatches they will implode, and once that happens the ship will sink instantly

EXTRA NOTES

I did try adding an autocoaler, but I forgot about it until it was too late and I couldn’t add it due to a mess of unfortunate placement. You should start to see autocoalers added in future builds.
you gotta haul coal from the engine room to the kitchen to use the cooker (I couldn’t find a good spot to put a coal bucket)
The anchors are "steam" driven, so you can’t use them if you don’t have steam pressure.

Not really inspired by any particular ship.
