Disclaimer: –
Big Super ships like Yamato and IOWA , might have performance issues especially if they are put in different player (team) than the other units . The reason is because that the game engine is not able to handle very big ships with large number of attachments (guns)even though I have scaled them down significantly. So its mainly a game issue.

The work around is you can either put all the units in one player, or scale the ships even more in the editor. scale =.7 or .6 of the current scale. Im trying to find a permanent fix , but so far no luck . If someone has the Yamato and IOWA with their guns as part of the ship (not attachments, please send them to me, this will solve the issue.)
Other ships should be fine with no perf issues.

— The original purpose of this Mod was for me to create cinematic videos that tells the story of ww2, and with absence of naval side in GOH I tried to do it myself since the game has great potentials, in between I just decided to make this available for the community as well as a full working mod , and I hope it becomes a motive for GOH devs to consider including naval and maybe air side with more depth in this great game.

— Im not a developer by profession so the code might not be perfect, but its something.

–as of now this mod is only for gem editor, and i have created two maps for testing,one is 1000×1000 and the other is 500×500, anyone is welcome to create missions and maps for this mod.

–with the exception of graf zeppelin, carriers don’t move , they are just used as land patch for planes and decor

– Gun calibers are not very accurate, i used the closest calibers from the game itself

— most of the ships are scaled down to be more in alignment with the game , only carriers and subs are not scaled

— the 4 biggest ships (yamato , hood , iowa and graf zeppelin) will not sink by default , but they will get completely destroyed while staying float for sometime, as the sinking animation for very
large scale ships dont work properly, they can sink if they are scaled down more.

-IOWA, Yamato , an Bismarck will be destroyed only if you destroy the front and rear of the ship.

–there is a big number of ships , boats and submarines in this mod, i bought some of the models online and edited some of the models, but the majority of the models were ported from mowas2 mods. credit for ships of war pack , naval strategy, vlss and interwar mode. however; I have done heavy editing on the models,textures, code and structure of the units, to make it work for goh with added features.

— the mod work as a standalone and does not require any other mode to run, if u do use it with other mods, make sure to load it last.

— most of the ships do not need crew to board them, they work automatically, also most of the guns especially big ships with big guns like yamato.

the mod include the following nations in ww2, and i might add more units in the future:

-Imperial Japanese Navy
-Kriegsmarine
-Regia Marina
-Soviet Navy
-Royal Navy
-Us NAvy
-China NRA Navy
-Lots of other units

— some of the smaller boats however need crew and can be boarded from shore, also some of the guns on medium ships will require crew, however crew cannot board directly to the ship, as well as the guns on them.
