ΜΑΝΙΣ ΤΑΣ ΣΠΑΡΤΑΣ: doric greek meaning "Wrath of Sparta"
The year is 427 BC. Five winters have passed since the start of the war and two after the death of Perikles. Now under Kleon, the imperialism of Athens has reached its peak and the match between the Delian and Peloponnesian Leagues remains a tie. King Agis II of Sparta succeeded his father Archidamus recently and sticks to his plan: pillage the Athenian countryside while secretely gathering resources for a brand new spartan fleet. But will this be enough?

6) New fertility mechanic: better agricultural buildings can be constructed in settlements on fertile plains like Pharsala, Messenia, Oreoi and others

You will also find new factions, wonders and an overhaul of the recruitment, emphasizing the role of the city-state a lot more. The city building offers greater recruitment capacity after upgrading it and no barracks are needed. However beware that a larger city is a lot more difficult to make happy!

Known issues:
1) This is a beta and many great things like new units (there are some) are missing. They will be added in the final version!
2) The athenian thracian helmet loses its texture in some diplomacy screens
