With the coolant systems offline the reactor core is overheating and the military don’t seem to realise the danger they’re in. Can Gordon prevent a meltdown and save the day?
Meltdown was originally intended to be a single map but due to lighting limitations had to be split into two very short maps. The maps had a very protracted development which was a slog and consequently aren’t as polished as I’d have liked.
To play the map:
Run Black Mesa.
EITHER
From Main Menu select Steam Workshop – Installed – Meltdown – Start game
OR
Press tilde (~) to bring up the console.
Type ‘map bm_meltdown’ into the console and press Enter.
If the console does not appear:
Go to Options -> Keyboard -> Advanced and tick the "Enable Developer Console" option.
