Hieda no Akyuu 稗田阿求
This mod adds Hieda no Akyuu from the Touhou Project as a new playable character, featuring over 75 new cards. It also includes several general or exclusive relics, potions, and events.
Akyuu excels at accumulating a large number of cards through various means and winning by quantity. As a child of Miare, Akyuu is more susceptible to Weaken and other Debuff but can also gain certain special benefits from them.
Cards with this keyword trigger their effects if they remain in your hand at the end of the turn, similar to some status and curse cards in the original game. However, most Transcribe cards can still be played, and their played effects are often related to their Transcribe effects.
Cards with this keyword do not participate in reshuffling.Therefore, to reuse these cards, you must use special means.
Choose a card from the bottom X cards of your discard pile and add it to your hand. You can use this to retrieve previously discarded Forgettable cards, Transcribe cards, or other cards.
In addition to the core mechanics mentioned above, Akyuu also has many non-keyworded small mechanics. For example, there are cards that require a full hand to trigger additional effects; some cards can assist in combat by generating a large number of cards or enhancing draw and search abilities; some cards can turn their negative statuses into advantages to disrupt enemies… we won’t go into too much detail here.
All card images are sourced from Pixiv, Twitter, or other Touhou-related fan games. If you are the original creator and do not wish for me to use your images without permission, I apologize in advance and will immediately address any concerns if you contact me.

By default, Akyuu will not gain the Runic Pyramid, but this can be disabled in the mod settings.
Cards recorded by the Gensokyo Chronicle are permanently removed from your deck and cannot be retrieved; you can only play Gensokyo Chronicle during combat to obtain that card. Additionally, cards recorded by the Gensokyo Chronicle cannot be retrieved multiple times in the same combat.
Since the author is a novice, not many more complex mechanics have been added. If you encounter any bugs while playing, please feel free to report them to me. Suggestions on card design or balance are also welcome.
