━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Frosti ÞH was an Icelandic stern trawler built in 1990 in Gdansk Poland. Originally named Jóhann Gíslason and operated by fishery Glettingur HF. In 1995 Jóhann Gíslason was sold or inherited by Kirkjusandur HF. / Landsbankinn. Then the same year Útgerðafélag Akureyringa HF acquired the vessel.
Then the same year, Frosti EHF bought the vessel and renamed it Frosti. In the year 2000 Frosti underwent a major rebuild. A superstructure was added underneath the bridge and an anti-roll tank was installed on the stern, which also provides protection to those who work on deck. A new keel, and interior refurbishment. In 2003 Frosti’s trawl became stuck to the ocean floor. 1st mate noticed a larger than the rest wave approach from the stern, he misjudged the wave and reeled in too quickly causing the ship to be pulled into the wave. As a result, Frosti capsized which partially filled the engine room, workshop, and rudder/gen room due to an open door on deck. The captain did not think this event was serious enough to write in the logbook and the exact date is therefore lost. This incident also prompted a change in Icelandic regulations: While trawling, all doors on deck must be closed.
In 2009 while docked for maintenance, Frosti suffered an ammonia leak and it seeped onto the deck and into the sea. Firefighters hosed it down while the leak was dealt with and no one was harmed. Frosti Was sold in 2012 to fishery Select Seafood Canada Ltd and renamed it to Northern Alliance where it is currently for sale.

7/22/2022: Updated thumbnail. Electricity and logic problems addressed along with some paint mistakes, designed new anchor winches. Bringing us a little closer to public release.
7/24/2022: Engine room dials now show correct readings.
7/25/2022: Adjusted rudder and throttle sensitivity and fixed some paint mistakes.
8/15/2022: Lowered speed of Main Winches, so it can haul the new trawl.
9/6/2022: Few changes to some objects, not obvious changes.
9/19/2022: Stability improved slightly.
14/5/2023: Optimization and other small changes.
