Nostalgia Menu
*** TO MAKE THIS MOD WORK, FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS *”*
1. Subscribe this mod.
2.. Go to Steam / SteamApps / common / Black Mesa / bms and open a text file called "gameinfo.txt". Then scroll down until you find "SearchPaths". In this section you´ll see a text "// Black Mesa VPK files.". Above it, type:
game+mod bms/custom/*
Save and quit.
3. In the same location, create a folder named "custom"
4. Go to Steam / SteamApps / workshop / content / 362890 / 1209092869 / and copy Nostalgia Menu.vpk in to the custom folder that you just created.
5. Go back to Workshop and unsubscribe this mod

I think the name says it all. This is a HD remake of the old menu background from Half-Life. It changes the background and menus button sounds. It does NOT change any music, so you can just stick with the original music or use another music mod with this. Alternatively, if you want to silence the start up music, I made an extra mod that mutes it.
To create this mod, I used a stock texture from www.texturelib.com as a base texture which I heavily edited. I tried to find the original texture again but it´s pretty much unrecognizable now.
Tools: Gimp 2, Hammer, VTFedit and Audacity

P.S. This mod is in its´ final state, so don´t bother suggesting changes. You also don´t have to tell me if you don´t like or don´t want to use this mod, it´s useless information for everyone.
