The "Law" was conceived to compete with the "Patrol" for the same proupose, Escorting cargo ships and patroling Territorial borders under the Petition ECPT5023 where it was needed a fast ship with acceptable maneouveravility and firepower
While the Patrol was a faster ship with a good maneouveravility, the Law wasnt as fast
The early development of the law made it quite fast and maneouverable but with additions of other sistems and weaponry, the ship no longer retained its speed failing below the Patrol speed about 30 m/s (100 m/s max speed)
For this reason the High Command chosed the Patrol as official Cargo Escorter and Border Patrol ship but the Law with its amazing weaponry was accepted to support the "Patrol" in Border Patrol Duties
