CTA Gates of Hell Bret’s American Vehicle Audio Overhaul Mod Pack

The time has come! After countless hours of work, my mod pack is finally here! I created this mod pack for the convenience of those interested in my mods, allowing you to use one comprehensive pack instead of multiple individual mods. If there’s a particular vehicle sound you don’t like from the pack, you can still handpick from the individual mods to customize your experience.

Note: If you’ve downloaded any of my individual mods and decide to use this pack, please disable and/or unsubscribe from them before downloading this pack to prevent any problems.

What Does the mod do?

This mod transforms your CTA Ostfront experience by replacing all American vehicle engine sounds with authentic audio recordings from actual WWII vehicles. Each engine roar and rumble has been sourced and integrated to deliver realism and immersion, ensuring that every moment on the battlefield feels genuine and historically accurate.

Why did I make this mod?

It all started with the M4A1 audio overhaul, my first mod. In many WWII games I’ve played, the American armor audio never quite met my expectations. I wanted to hear the distinctive rumble of the radial engine coming to life. After completing the M4A1 mod, I thought, "If I can do this for one tank, why not do it for the M4A3 as well?" This led me to overhaul the audio for all American vehicles. I felt that this mod was needed, and I hope that sharing it will be appreciated by others who love American tanks and vehicles as much as I do.

Can we expect vehicle audio overhauls for other countries?

While sourcing audio for these vehicles is challenging, it’s not out of the question. If I can gather sufficient audio from vehicles of other countries, you can definitely look forward to more mods in the future.
