Cold Storage was an entry to the RTSL The Loop Complex mapping challenge (https://www.runthinkshootlive.com/posts/the-loop-complex/). The goal of the challenge was to create a map based around the concept of looping (ie returning to the starting point) in an interesting and believable way.
This is a slightly updated version of the map originally submitted for the contest.
To play the map:
Run Black Mesa.
From Main Menu select Steam Workshop – Installed – Cold Storage – Start game
OR
Press tilde (~) to bring up the console.
Type ‘map bm_coldst’ into the console and press Enter.
If the console does not appear:
Go to Options -> Keyboard -> Advanced and tick the "Enable Developer Console" option.
