Improved Cheap Water
I’ve always been annoyed with the atrocious looking cheap water in BM (to the point where you could legitimately say the half life 1 water looks better unironically) and wanted to change it for a long time, and so I did.
This mod changes the texture of every cheap water you encounter in BM to resemble actual water, via refraction. I tweaked it to the best of my ability and limits to try and make it look as canny as possible in the scenarios you encounter each water if not perfectly.
Regardless even if it doesn’t look the best or perfect it is a major step up from what it was before in my opinion, and could be improved even further with map tweaking.
This mod will work without any map modifications or replacements and even works in other maps/campaigns that allow mods.
To install simply subscribe or place the VPK into your custom folder.
