Victini
I added my personal favorite Pokémon into the game since no one else did. But I’m happy with myself for doing so! A large part of its moveset is based off of Sandbert, but I tried my best to come up with unique ways to modify them enough so they’re original.
Victini cloaks its ears in scarlet flames and headbutts any target in front. However, when the move ends, Victini’s speed will temporarily drop. Keep in mind that the cooldown of this move might not work properly on rare occasions, I haven’t tested that fully.
While Teleport is a move Victini cannot normally learn, it’s at least something useful in RoA. This is a horizontal move which can end early by pressing the Special button again fast.
This move only works on the ground, but for a good reason: Victini summons a rain of burning fireballs from above! Searing Shot covers a good distance, but can be easy to predict. Prior to v1.2, this move was the less viable Bolt Strike.
I took a bit of creative liberties with this one. When using this move, Victini will become able to move slowly in any direction for a short time while psychic energy harms those trying to make contact. Press the Special button before Victini runs out of energy to channel what’s left into a psychic burst!
- Victini’s up strong attack utilizes its V-Wheel
- Its taunt loosely references Victini’s battle animation in Pokémon Black and White
- A majority of the sound effects are from Gen 5
- Victini currently has 16 different color palettes.
- It took roughly two weeks to make this custom character.
- Obviously, no additional requirements are necessary to use Victini.
