Road To Enlightenment [50+ Unlocks, 3 Characters!]

Beaten, hurt, scarred, our tainted cast is given a chance at redemption. Granting them their most desired wish, God has passed them a second try at life. Their future holds either a worsened furtherance or a forgiven beginning. Follow them on their Road to Enlightenment as they make their way towards an unknown future.

A brand new C-Side mod hits the workshop, with new Enlightened characters, unlockable items/trinkets/consumables and challenges! This is The Binding of Isaac: Road to Enlightenment!

DOES NOT WORK WITH REPENTANCE+/ONLINE. WE’RE WAITING FOR IT TO BE MORE STABLE TO START FIXING. Method to disable the DLC is in the second image above.

Blowing Blood Money, or Wave 1 + WLC 1, drops as the release content of RoE! Starting off the journey, it brings Enlightened Keeper, Enlightened Blue Baby and Enlightened Samson, as well as 50 new unlockables and 2 challenges.

Enlightened Keeper

IF YOU HAVE 0 COINS, YOU DIE! Lucky you’ve got 99 of ‘em! But now, you can’t find any more… the shops are suffering… and everything costs money. Every. Single. Thing. Spend wisely, or you may go into debt… just kidding, you’ll just die!

Oh, and if you find any special coins on the way, it would be good to pick them up. A nice stat boost is in store! Don’t get hit though, unless you want to lose it.

Enlightened Blue Baby

Back from the dead, the corpse walks with a need to feed! He’s got a frail body though, so be careful! Losing a bone heart will lose a limb! Stats go up and down on this shambling maggot hive. Speaking of maggots, he is overflowing! Everytime he spits, a maggot has a chance to come out too. His maggots are special, they induce weakness!

Psst, I see dead people… eating brains to regain lost limbs. Try that with him. Brain pickups have a 10% chance to replace pills.

Enlightened Samson

Bombs, bombs, bombs! Enlightened Samson, followed by Lil’ Sam, blows into the basement! Armed with endless explosives, Lil’ Sam will deal the brunt of Samson’s damage, doing over 5 times his damage with every bomb!

But, it is not just Lil’ Sam that packs a punch, Samson himself packs a NUKE. When you place down a bomb, a long timer will start and Lil’ Sam is going to throw out H.Ex’s that change your bombs in many ways when you use them. All bombs will share the timer until exploding, so plan ahead and no boss will last after Samson’s burst damage!

Also, you can move your bombs by selecting through them with your drop key and moving with attack keys. They can run, but they can’t hide!

Oh, also next Wave, we WILL be getting a custom character select, so please don’t worry about ours clogging the default one, we’ll chop that head before it grows! Lastly, if you just want to unlock everything, “unlockapi unlockall” (without the speech marks) in the console will work.
