Wooden Watchtower
First up : I DID NOT CREATE THIS 3D MODEL OR TEXTURE, I only did the fiddly bits to make it (mostly) work in Kenshi. It is the original work of Dennis Haupt, who kindly released it for non commercial use. Visit his website at https://3dhaupt.com/, he has some cool stuff.

This is a wooden watchtower, with guns and lights so you can see what you shoot and shoot what you see!
- It’s decently high so you get a nice height bonus to your turrets (increased range).
- Three turret mounts on each of front, right and left sides. One mount out the rear window.
- Custom lights – not built into the model, but as new lights available for building. ‘Watchtower Spotlight’ and ‘Watchtower Searchlight’, basically just range-buffed versions of the vanilla lights.
- Pathing up the stairs can occasionally blip out, or cause turrets to be operated from the ground floor. If it’s misbehaving, make sure it’s upright and that the ramp is in the dirt. Use Shift-F12 for fine tuning the placement if necessary (will need a save/reload afterwards).
- Unlocked with the ‘Defensive Walls’ tech.
- Make sure the entry ramp is in the dirt when you build it, or no one will be able to get in.
