AGOT: HOTD House Velaryon
16/04/25 – DNA added for new Velaryons in history. Also added DNA for Stokeworths and Hayford with Velaryon mothers. Tweaked DNA for mothers of prominent Targaryens.
29/07/25 – Brought back the character interaction to add/remove the mechanic (HVEL) when in debug mode.
17/06/25 – Overhauled. Extreme values should no longer occur. Greater variation in complexion should occur while maintaining seed. New history characters given DNA. Aegon III’s children might not appear correctly because of bits removed from base. Will see about that.
06/05/25 – Game rule removed for Aegon III’s children. They’ll automatically have tweaked appearances.
09/03/25 – Added a requested game rule for Aegon III’s children to have tweaked appearances.
Game rule to decide on show or book appearance without having to disable the mod. Must choose this before choosing character.
Added a cheat to the debug menu to turn on and off the strong seed mechanic for cases where the complexion goes strange.
Royal title for all children of Targaryen holders of Dragonstone re-enabled. Working on making it trigger for any heir to the Iron Throne regardless of generation.
Disabled again, broken again.
Remade without overwritten files, so compatibility should improve. Must still go after CK3AGOT, AGOT Submod Core and AGOT+ (using AGOT+ compatible version – link below), but otherwise put it where you want.

Hair and beards currently random for most characters. I might leave it this way.
Features:
Game rule to choose DNA for all Velaryons in A Game of Thrones mod, inspired by House of the Dragon
– characters will appear with appropriate appearance if you click through the family tree. Use game rule for show-inspired appearance or book-based appearance (CK3AGOT default)
Complexion Strong Seed
– Added the complexion to the strong seed system. Should provide (mostly) realistic variations in skin tone and be obvious if there’s a Strong boy situation (I recommend pairing with AGOT: More Actions that investigates true parentage)
– since it’s the only strong seed of its type, can be paired with another strong seed dynasty like Reyne for Reyne hair with Velaryon skin
– not available for custom strong seed menu
Tweaked DNA for Rhaenys
– changed her hair to increase in salt n’ pepper intensity as time passes, as it is in the book
Tweaked DNA for children of Velaryon women in Crowned Stag bookmark
– Celtigar and Chelsted
Some Longwaters DNA
– house founders have been given new DNA. Complexion strong seed might show on other members
Game rule to choose paternity for Alyn and Addam separately
– affects dragon-taming chances
– the default is Corlys for both
– use ‘find secrets’ on Driftmark to reveal, Marilda is in Hull
Royal titles for all children of Targaryen Dragonstone holder
– unrelated to this mod, but children of the holder of Dragonstone will be titled prince(ss) if held by a Targaryen, regardless of the child’s own dynasty

Should be compatible with everything EXCEPT AGOT+.
