Description:

This mod adds a variety of custom weather/lighting types to regular missions (City Center, Slums, and many others).
Currently features 30 unique weather variations, chosen at random/depending on day time and mission type.

All maps are cooked.

Check the pinned discussions for extra details about customizing the mod settings!

COMPATIBILITY:

Should be compatible with anything, including DLC Lighting Maps and Tunnel & Abandoned Lighting Maps.
Works with LWOTC as well (I play LWOTC myself).
Can be added or removed during campaign. It’s best to do that in Avenger, when you’re not running a tactical mission. Otherwise, your current level could become dark.

KNOWN ISSUES:

Night Embers map: When raining, the map may rarely become bright after lightning strikes. Reloading a save should fix the problem [PENDING FIX].

Feel free to report any feedback/issues. This mod is expected to receive more content updates and tweaks over time, so expect further changes.

Extra info: Some night maps in this mod also have the darker variants (with the _Dark suffix) as an option – disabled by default. You can enable them in the XcomMaps.ini file. It’s up to you whether you want to use only one variant and disable the other, or mix and match several variants at the same time.
