I took over Koni’s Cultural Armies Packlnearly a year ago to continue Koni’s legacy, however, I feel I cannot continue to appropriately support this mod due to time constraints and maintaining it’s quality. Since this mod came out, Paradox has expanded it’s unit types, RICE, Cultures Expanded and various other mods have added unit types and Jimmy White has released his fabulous "Cultural Armies Remastered".

Keeping this mod balanced and compatible has become an effort which I don’t feel fits my skills and game knowledge. Instead of letting this quality of this mod degrade, I would rather stop support in the coming weeks and allow somebody more dedicated to this portion of the game to take it over. If you are interested in doing so, feel free and contact me.

UPDATE:
As Remastered adds basic cultural units to most cultures, the Redux units have now been changed to be slightly improved with a higher cost. These units are only available via innovation. I have added scripting which assigns these innovations by date so for example at game start Bavarian and Dutch may have reformed armies in 300, however, other frankish/german cultures will not have them unless the start date is after 700. This better represents that these are Reformed Cultural Armies.

This is a beta version of a compatch for those who want to use both…

Load Order:
Cultural Armies Redux
Cultural Amrmies Remastered
This Mod

This compatch makes it so both these mods can be used together and adds and merges these features…
– Redux CRA Units are now slighly improved and cost more than their Remastered counterparts.
– All units have access to the terrain bonuses when using mods like MB+
– Era Bonuses from both mods for units
– No need for game rule from Redux regarding access to vanilla units (this is taken care of by Remastered)
* Scripting allows for usage with mods that add bookmarks and units/armies will be available accordingly

*****NOTE****
-This is not thoroughly tested and may have quirkiness and oddities.
-There are "duplicated" men at arms as cultures have access to the MAA from both mods, this is typically the case with basic soldiers types add by Redux, for example, the French may have access to "French Bowmen" (Remastered) and "Arc de Fleche" (Redux).

– Some images from Remastered may not overwrite Redux images.

I don’t know if I will have the time to trim out these duplicates but if anybody wants to take this over, feel free.
