So I needed armour for my faction. Unfortunately, I didn’t quite like any vanilla set, since they’re either unrealistic (like samurai armour — wearing this in reality would be a nightmare, just look what it did to poor Crumblejon) or turn you into some weird-looking hobo. Sometimes it’s both cases simultaneously.
I wanted something that’s unique and at least halfway decent while remaining as vanilla as possible. I relied on my combat experience as special operations battalion stormtrooper to try to imagine relatively light and comfortable-looking medieval-esque armour. It’s composed fully from vanilla assets and uses modified vanilla textures, though I used leg plates and pauldrons models from Expanded Vanilla Armor by Deodexed (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3257995766) and Light Holy Breastplate model by Rohan (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1335922236). Thus this mod was made.
What it features:
5 new armour pieces (turban, chestplate, pants, boots and chainmail). You can make these at leather and chainmail crafting benches accordingly;
New backpack;
New building (banner);
New blueprint unlocking all of the listed above;
New game start.
You may buy armour and blueprint from Armour King, backpack is often sold at adventure shops. If you use new game start, you’ll get research right away. Stats of armour are based on vanilla to be good, but not OP.
