Description:
Even someone as powerful as the original pioneer of Magic gets bored sometimes.

Messiah has 2 resources to manage, Concentration (300 MAX), and Bullets (6 MAX).

Messiah is able to fire his gun by entering either of his shooting stances, At The Ready or Steady Aim. While in either shooting stance, Messiah has a reduced moveset, greatly limiting his movement especially in Steady Aim.

This gun is a complete free action besides from entering the stance.

On entering these stances, a reticle will spawn on/near the opponent.

Reticle

Before Messiah is able to fire his gun in At The Ready or Steady Aim, his reticle must overlap the opponent for 15 ticks.

The shape of the reticle determines what state it is in.

Dot/Point : Reticle is not on the opponent
Plus : Reticle overlaps the opponent
X : Reticle is ready to fire

The countdown to fire appears next to the concentration bar.

Shooting drains a certain amount of concentration depending on the stance.

At The Ready

At The Ready is Messiah’s first shooting stance.

In this stance:

  • Movement is limited to Walk Forward/Backward
  • Moveset is restricted
  • The player gains the ability to manually aim the reticle, as well as an auto aim (auto aim drains extra concentration)
  • The reticle spawns away from the opponent
  • Concentration is slowly drained
  • Concentration is drained by 40 per shot

Steady Aim

Steady Aim is Messiah’s second shooting stance.

In this stance:

  • There is zero access to movement
  • Moveset is greatly restricted
  • Reticle has much faster tracking
  • The reticle spawns on top of the opponent
  • Aimable]reticle offset when entering the stance
  • No access to manual aim
  • Concentration is decently drained
  • Concentration is drained by 15 per shot
