Mineable Miniroids
Mineable Miniroids are essentially very tiny asteroids containing all available mineable minerals such as the more common iron and copper, but also include relatively large amounts of tritanium, hyperium, uranium, carbon and gold.
These miniroids can be found in their own asteroid fields, they don’t spawn anywhere else. This makes it easier to mine them using dedicated mining equipment.
To mine the Miniroids, it is adviced to build a dedicated ship with prongs or horns and manually pilot your mining vessel through the clouds of Miniroids to gather them on large piles before salvaging them. The salvaging itself goes relatively quick due to the Miniroids containing no significant amounts of useless impurities, you can mine straight to the minerals.
Also the Miniroids contain a relatively large amount of more valuable resources, like tritanium and gold. However, it takes a little bit more effort to mine them because of how spread out the Miniroids are, even though the asteroid fields containing the Miniroids are somewhat smaller than the standard asteroid fields (it will still take some time and effort to sweep all the miniroids onto a single pile though).
You can still mine the Miniroids the old fashioned way if you want to. The Miniroids are also quite light and numerous, making it easier to push large numbers of them around.
For each starsystem, only a single Miniroid field will spawn with a spawn chance of 90%. These Miniroid fields don’t replace any of the standard asteroid fields, these Miniroid fields use their own spawning mechanism.
This mod may add a new flavor to your mining experience. It’s definitely different from mining standard sized asteroids or even really huge ones.
First prepare by adding prongs or horns to the front of your mining ship.
These horns or prongs are needed to collect the Miniroids as you fly through the clouds of Miniroids.
Start flying through the cloud of Miniroids to collect them.

Collect them until you have a large pile. The Miniroids may seem somewhat fluffy when collecting them.

Slowly brake and start mining!
