Melee Weapons Extended
Adds several new melee weapons to the game, designed to continue growing alongside ranged weapons in the tech tree; whereas vanilla stops at the longsword. Close-quarters combat even in the late-game is getting interesting new possibilities!
The new weapons are:
- Charge Sword: spacer-tech energy-based sword. Deals heavy damage, but is expensive to make. Requires fabrication bench.
- Rocket Hammer: big hammer powered by combustion engines. Deals blunt damage. Requires fabrication bench.
- Stun Baton: non-lethal weapon that can shock a target with pain, useful for capturing. Requires machining table.
- Baseball Bat: alternative to the club. Requires fueled or electric smithy.
- Chainsaw: mechanical weapon that deals severe damage in bursts. Requires machining table.
This mod is save-compatible.
