Insel Rugen / Rugen Island
This is Rugen Island – a real island in Baltic sea, located in former East Germany and for most USSR citizens of DDR, CSSR or Hungary the best go-to option for seaside holidays. Welcome, comrades!
This map is in 1:3 scale to fit game dimensions, though height were kept "original" when it made sense. Map has pre-placed cities where they are including real names. Go visit Hiddensee Island, Konigsstuhl or northernmost bit of DDR – Kap Arkona!
Will you build a big harbor in Stralsund and/or Sassnitz?
Will you create your own version of "Rasende roland", turistic train between Putbus-Binz-Gohren?
Will you place oil rigs in the see on manmade islands, or will island supply be enough for you?
Welcome your first citizens and develop the island the same way (if not better) as historical comrades did!
All cities have switched off moving in of people, so you should be safe. If it doesn´t work, let me know.
Btw: This is my first map, so I only hope everything works alright.
