AK-230
AK-230-Soviet ship 30 mm Automatic paired artillery installation with two NN-30 guns.
Given the availability of AK-630M-2 Duet installation in the ARMA 3 workshop, and the AK-603 installations flashed on the network-we decided to keep up with the tendency, and make the founding of this type of weapons in the Soviet fleet.Namely, the first installation of this type is AK-230. Created in the far of 1959, this installation is still widely used in the fleets of many countries of the world, and is quite effective weapons of the near radius of ships of various classes.Sometimes it is installed as a stationary weapons system on the shore, or even put on the bandages.
This mod is part of a larger mod, which is now in our production – PSKR Pr.241.But we decided to lay it out separately at the requests of the players who experienced this mod as a separate type of weapons. It consists of three types of installations – just a tower, a tower with a small barbet, a tower with a large barbet. And also the same aiming radar "Lynx", and VK-2 visitor column. That is, a full complex of equipment of this installation is presented. The radar in functionality is a standard radar ARMA 3, and the visual – scores of the forensic indicator. It can control the installation on the target, but the discovery of fire is the priority of AI.
Despite the high firing power, this tool is not ultimatum – the aiming system of AI has a small angle of view, the range of decision to open fire is not high – about 1.5-2 km.(as in reality). The installation is poorly booking, therefore it is quite vulnerable to large-caliber rifle weapons and small-caliber guns – again, as in reality..It has a ammunition as in IRL – 2000 shots for installation, but due to the features of ARMA 3, BC had to be divided into separately fragmentation and armor-piercing shells. In aviation and infantry, the first are effective, on ground equipment and ships – the second. The turret is controlled either automatically with the help of AI, or from the drone of drones for the red side.
