Are you tired of not getting any benefits for playing orthodox? Then this is the mod for you.
Doesn’t it annoy you when all those catholics go "Deus Vult" and all those muslims go "Aloha Snackbar" and you get caught in the middle?
Well, the Ecumenical Patriarch can go Deus Vult too now. But wait, there’s more. He will not call crusades on his own, instead you will call them, that way you choose the kingdom you are interested in (the original crusade conditions still apply, meaning no more than one every 30, and they can be called only against heretics and infidels).
This is not the first mod that unlocks orthodox crusades but it is the first mod to unlock orthodox crusade REQUESTS.
Have you ever entered a kebab-removal spree so hard that you became neighboors with miaphysites in Nubia and Abyssinia? And you had to send your councilor to make claims and you tried to wait for him to finish but instead died of boredom? You will no longer, because now when you mend the schism all the christian faiths other than orthodox are considered heresies. Christian holy orders will also convert to orthodoxy upon mending the schism.
But that is not all! Ever got that hugeass empire and the viceroy of France had half of Italy, the viceroy of Italy had half of Greece, the viceroy of Greece had half of Andalusia and so on? Does this annoy you? It’s ok because you can now request claims for counties from your bff the Patriarch by using a meager 100 piety.
You are going to telll me now "But dude, the guy i want land from is viceroy which means he has his own religious head". This mod has the solution: no more autocephaly, meaning you can also excommunicate whoever you want.
Ever noticed that your religious authority went to hell whenever you stopped holy warring for 20 years? By spending 3000 gold feeding the poor of the empire alongside the Patriarch you can now add 1500 piety to yourself ( for those claims and excommunications) and also add 1500 piety to the Patriarch, getting the moral authority up by 25 points.
This mod also adds the option to donate to the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre even when they’re vassalized.
